"Sachi" the amigurumi Sea Otter- initial sketch

Since we've moved right next to the California Coastline...I had to do a sea otter project. We can see them from our home from time to time...and they are definitely cute furry water creatures. 

Who could resist?

I wanted to make it a female character with a skirt and a star friend.

I sketched this out using "Paper" an iPad app by FiftyThree.

I just love how the watercolor brush works and looks.

"Sachi" the Sea Otter

Sachi the Sea Otter has an orange flower in the head and matching skirt, made from old t-shirt and embroidery flower design. Her buddy the little starfish is made from felt fabric. This is an original design. Sorry, I would provide patterns, if I only could write one and have someone proof it for me.

"Roger" ami from American Dad!

This is "Roger the Alien" from the cartoon show American Dad!

Sorry! No pattern. This was crocheted all out of my brain and referencing from the show.

Ciggi- made from air-dry clay and markers. The cup which was suppose to be wine glass didn't come out too well. oh well.

My bad- I should use the word "animation" not cartoon. For you fans out there :-)

Did this quick sketch using a Sharpie pen and watercolor pencils. not too proud of this, so I guess I'll need to sketch out more.
